Gary Shellito

Gary L. Shellito, 59, of Meadville, formerly of Conneaut Lake, passed away at home on Saturday, January 19, 2013. He was born on December 28, 1953 in Meadville, a son of Charles F. Shellito and Selma L. Carpenter Shellito. He was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. He had worked at CHAPS as a volunteer. Gary was a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 111 of Meadville, and CHAPS. Gary is survived by a sister Linda S. Shellito of Meadville; three nieces Heather Waugaman of NC, Cassandra Catalano and Amanda Catalano, both of Meadville; a nephew Michael Catalano of Meadville and a great-niece Haley Waugaman. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Joanne, Donna Catalano and a brother Charles H. Shellito. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11am to Noon at the funeral home, with the funeral service to follow at Noon officiated by Pastor Benjamin Travis of Trinity Lutheran Church, Meadville.
