Gayl Edna Johnson

Gayl Edna Johnson, age 71 of Meadville, PA died Friday, May 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born on May 23, 1941 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna (Raymond) MacMillan. She was a graduate of Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She retired from the Schering-Plough Company, in New Jersey. She enjoyed Fishing, gardening and her many pets including dogs, cats and others, that she had over the years, especially , Sandy, Susie and Bear Bear, her current three dogs. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Johnson, of Elizabeth, New Jersey; two sons, Vincent Johnson, Meadville, PA and Mark Johnson of Trenton, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Anthony Wood, Brittany Roberts, Chelsea Mills, Jaylyn Roberts, and James Timothy Johnson, a sister, Lynn Brehm of Cranford, New Jersey; a brother Arthur MacMillan of Southern CA. She is further survived by four nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Sawicki. Family and friends may come and call on Thursday from 6 to 7 PM at the New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, PA The memorial service will follow at 7 PM, with Pastor Temple Jarrell, of the church, officiating.
