George Wallace Carr

            George Wallace Carr, age 69, of Meadville, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the UMPC Hamot surrounded by his loving family.             He was born on May 28, 1947, the son of the late Edward H. Carr and Eleanor Rudd. On January 22, 1973 George married his soul mate Patricia Malliard, she survives.             George graduated from Meadville High School in 1966. He was a member of the United States Army from 1966 to 1969. He worked at Rehrig Pacific Company, and was a chain operator at Talon. George was affiliated with the Stone Methodist Church in Meadville.             George was an amazing man. A kind, giving, and loving man. He was best known for his ability to talk (to anyone about anything), and making complete strangers into long-term friends. George loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, decorating his home and back yard with flags, statues, and Steelers signs. On good days he loved to pontoon and fish with his family in Conneaut Lake. He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, going to auctions and collecting old clocks.             He is survived by his wife Patricia Carr, a daughter: Miquelle Kleean and her husband Thomas Kleean Jr. of Meadville, PA, two grandchildren: Michaela Kleean and Parker Kleean of Meadville, PA.
