Gerald Eugene Mattocks

Gerald E. Mattocks, age 86, passed away at his home in Titusville, after a lengthy illness surrounded by family and his close friends.             He was born on September 16, 1930, the son of late Vance Edward and Lena B. Smith Mattocks. He married Margaret Curry on July 31, 1955.  She survives.             Jerry worked as a truck driver and did construction work. He also owned his own excavating business. He loved watching wrestling on TV and enjoyed hunting and woodworking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a charter member of RSVP Titusville Toy Shop.             Jerry is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret Curry Mattocks, a son: Robert Mattocks of Sneads Ferry, NC, three daughters: Debbie Norris and her husband Alton of Sneads Ferry, NC, Brenda McCain and her husband Charlie of Titusville, and Patty Heighes and her husband Raymond (Jim) Heighes of Titusville, nine grandchildren: Brad Schmader and his wife Heather of Titusville, Jody Schmader of Titusville, Heather Schmader and friend Ronnie Feroz of Titusville, Rick McCain and his wife Rebecca of Burleson, TX, Vanessa Titus and her husband Travis of Titusville, Luke McCain and friend Renea of Titusville, Joel Norris and his wife Renee of Sneads Ferry, NC, Jason Norris and his wife Stephanie of Hampstead, NC, Jarrod Norris and his wife Gabby of Sneads Ferry, NC, also nineteen great-grandchildren, one brother: Robert Mattocks and his wife Barbara of Beaver Falls, PA, three sisters: Helen Pisano and her husband Mario of North East, PA, Hazel Phelps of Meadville, PA, and Mary Andromolis of Meadville. Jerry is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.             In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Vance Mattocks and Clarence (Bud) Mattocks, two sisters: Blanch M.
