Geraldine Crandall

Geraldine R. Crandall, age 84, of Meadville, PA passed away on March 21, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center after a long battle with dementia.  She was born on February 16, 1938 in Emporium, PA to the late Lawrence and Nellie (Bartoletti) Tartaglia.  She married Donald Crandall on July 16, 1960.  He preceded her in death on November 5, 2013.

Gerry graduated from Emporium High School in 1956.  She worked as a legal secretary for Northwest Legal Services.  She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.  She also enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by her three children, Cynthia D. Prall of Meadville, PA, John C. Crandall of Oahu, HI and Amy K. Shiner of Meadville, PA; 8 grandchildren, Jeremy Prall, Courtney Prall, Jacob Prall, John Crandall Jr., Jennifer Cox, Samantha Shiner, Holden Shiner and Brandon Shiner and 3 great grandchildren.

Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and her son, Joseph B. Crandall.

There will be no services.
