Golda Swartz

Golda M. Swartz, age 83, of Meadville, PA passed away on October 3, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 25, 1941 in Meadville, PA to the late Dwight E. and Martha V. (Hyde) Wickham. She first married Charlie Authier. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2021. Her second marriage was to Dennis L. Swartz. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2018.

Golda worked as a cook and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship of Meadville, PA. She was a lifetime member of Weight Watchers.

She is survived by her sons, David Authier and Dan Authier; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Authier and Isabella Authier; her nieces and nephews, Bernard Wickham, Valerie Driver and John Wickham and her special “children”, Jimmy Mumua and Kenneth Hurst and his wife, Kimberly.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Lewis, Martin, Bernard and Morris Wickham and her sister, Myrna Flagg.

A private ceremony will be set at a later date.
