Gregory Eugene Brown

Gregory Eugene Brown, age 60 of Meadville, PA passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 20, 2013 He was born July 31, 1953 in Meadville, PA the son of Paul L. and Patsy Ann (Dykes) Brown. He had worked various odd jobs over the years. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was a member of CHAPS, and liked to travel. He was always active in the volunteer fire department in the area of where he was residing. He is survived by his parents, Paul L. Brown of Linesville, PA and Patsy Ann Brown residing at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, PA; four sisters, Deborah Grant and her husband, Ronald of Meadville, PA, Darlene Brown of Linesville, PA, Charlene Brown States and her husband, Virgil of Linesville, PA and Jodi Brown of Meadville, PA. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. Gregory was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Marion Dykes, and his paternal grandparents, Orrie and Mae Brown and by an uncle, Robert Brown. Service will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Township.
