Harry Hoague Sr.

Harry Benny Hoague,Sr., 69, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at Meadville Medical Center on Sunday May 18, 2025. He was born on July 7, 1955 in Immokalee, FL to the late Arthur Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Brown) Hoague. He married Giva Cornell on December 3, 1982. She survives.

Harry was a self-employed roofer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially hunting for hog and gator in Florida. He loved spending time with his family and especially loved family cookouts.

In addition to his beloved wife of 42 years, Giva, he is survived by his children, April Pearson of Helen, AL, Cheryl Dutton and her husband, Philip of Nauvoo, AL, Clyde Hoague of Meadville, PA, Danyell Hetrick and her husband, Jason of Saegertown, PA and Jammie Hoague and her husband, David of Meadville, PA; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Robert Fowler of Meadville, PA and Ben Goodman and his wife, Pamela of Athens, GA.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Harry Hoague; his mother and father-in-law, Jean Cornell and Clyde Cornell and several siblings.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
