Harvey Bersaw

Harvey A. Bersaw, 88, died December 3, 2023 at Corry Manor Nursing Home after a short illness. He was born March 14, 1935 in Rutland, VT, the son of Albert and Helen Bersaw.  He graduated from Wallingford High School in 1953.  He was a member of the Vermont National Guard when he attended Ft. Sill Military School, achieving the highest grade point average to date in the school's history.

Harvey worked at Howe Scales in VT until its closure then moved to New Jersey.  Years later he was transferred to PA, where he eventually retired.

His hobbies included deer hunting, ham radio, square dancing (where he met his wife, Jocelyn) and all things electronic.  He was also known for his sharp wit.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Jocelyn of Meadville, PA; his son, Christopher of Chicago, Ill; his daughter, Catherine of Palm Desert, CA; his sisters, Susan Wilder and Judith Burdick of Raleigh, NC and several cousins and in-laws. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.
