Helen M. Boyersmith

            Helen M. Boyersmith, age 91, of Meadville, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community.             She was born on February 24, 1926 in Oil City. The daughter of the late Homer Dahle and Mary Schultz Dahle. Helen married Alton Anthony Boyersmith on September 22, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2009.             Helen graduated from Titusville High School in 1945. For most of her life Helen worked at Avtex. She was an avid member of the Silver Sneakers exercise group. She enjoyed word puzzles, reading, and needle crafting. Helen was an extremely devoted mother and grandmother.             Helen is survived by two daughters: Patricia Pastorius and her husband Michael of Conneaut Lake, and Brenda Belisky and her husband Harry of  Meadville, three sons: Ronald Boyersmith and his wife Marion of Wattsburg, PA, Alan Boyersmith of Meadville, and Mark Boyersmith of Conneautville, PA, seven grandchildren: Jeff Boyersmith and his wife Michelle, Tina Zoborowski and her husband Paul, Rhonda Greenawalt, Verlie Cole, Bryon Boyersmith and his significant other Pam Hamilton, Logan Rendulic and his finance Nicole Warrick, and Katie McKernan and her husband Sean, eleven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchild. Helen is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and in particular her niece Charlene Diak.             In addition to her parent’s and husband, Helen was preceded in death by five brothers: Frances Dahle, Floyd Dahle, Wayne Dahle, Eugene Dahle, and Donald Dahle, two sisters; Twila Smith and Evelyn Dahle.             In accordance with Helen’s wishes a private funeral service will be held.
