Helen L. Meyers

               Helen L. Meyers, age 84, formerly of Linesville, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Rolling Fields.  Helen was born on October 29, 1932 in Marlinton, West Virginia to the late Lewie Taylor and Mary (Simmons) Taylor.  She was formerly married to Walter Shevitz and Walter Meyers.  They both precede her in death.  She was employed by Wesbury until her retirement in 1988 as a nurse’s aide.  She then worked at Conneaut Lake Park in the souvenir shop.  She was of the Christian Faith, was a member of the Sportsman’s Club in Linesville, enjoyed long walks, playing Bingo and shopping.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and the company of her cat.                 Survivors include her 6 children; Dorothy Shevitz of Conneaut Lake, Michael Shevitz (wife Susan) of Franklin, Mary Ann Hofler-Ross (husband John) of Conneaut Lake, John Shevitz (wife Pam) of Solon, OH, Cherry Hogenmiller of Conneautville and Stella Austin (husband Leonard) of Conneaut Lake. Also 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Helen was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.                  A memorial service will be on Tuesday, October 24, beginning at 11AM at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory.  Following the service will be a procession to Espyville Cemetery with a graveside service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N.
