Henry S. Miller

Henry S. “Hank” Miller , age 87, of Meadville, PA passed away Sunday evening, May 21, 2017.             He was born on August 31, 1929 in Clearfield, PA the son of the late Lex K. Miller and Olive Dinges Miller. He married Doris Sindlinger. They couple recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.             Hank proudly served in the United States Navy, followed by a 37 year career in the Pennsylvania State Police. He was an involved member of The Shriner’s, in addition to several other social and veteran associations. Hank was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Meadville.             Hank is survived by his wife, Doris Miller of Meadville, PA, his daughter, Jill Miller Hughes and her husband, Greg of Conneaut Lake,  their twin daughters, Alexis and Mackenzie Hughes; and his sister; Marilyn Mitchell of Clearfield, PA.             In addition to his parents, Hank is preceded in death by his daughter, Jan Maureen Miller; and four brothers; David Miller, Keith Miller, Robert “Bob” Miller and Wynn Miller.               Visitation will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty Street, Meadville, PA 16335 from 12 until 2p.m., on Thursday, May 25.  Full Military Honors will be presented at 2PM by VFW Post 2006 and the Pennsylvania State Police Honor Guard followed immediately by the funeral service. The Reverend Dr. Brian K.
