Irene J. Lauderman

Irene J. (Gordon) Lauderman, age 81, of Meadville, PA passed away on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Meadville Medical Center. She was born September 25, 1934 at home in Spring Township, Crawford County, PA the daughter of the late Wilson Gordon and Helen Mae Stevens Gordon. She married Paul Joseph Lauderman on May 28, 1968. He preceded her in death on March 15, 2008. She was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed the violin, singing, yodeling and dancing. She was known for her knitting and crocheting of doilies. She also liked to spend time fishing. Irene is survived by her children, son: Dale Leavitt and his companion Trish of Cleveland, Ohio, daughter: Debbie Jones and her husband Keith of Shelbyville, TN, son: Allen Beleal and his fiancé Connie May of Linesville, PA, son: Carl Lehman Jr. of Meadville, PA, daughter: Melody McClimans and her husband Kenny of Hartstown, PA, Laurie Lehman and her significant other Pete Haines of Pittsburgh, PA and David Lauderman and his wife Teresa of Meadville, PA, 29 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, two sisters: Jessie Stark of Wellsville, New York and Norma Jean Fritz of Lakeland, FL, and a brother, Alton Stanford and his wife Olive of Danville, PA. She is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Irene was preceded in death by a daughter: Betty Jones, two sons: Paul Lauderman and Robert Lauderman, three grandsons: Nicholas Lehman, Justin Lehman and Michael Lapham, a brother: Paul Gordon and two sisters: Bonnie Flint and Alice New. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Chestnut Corners Cemetery.
