Jack Leroy Henry

Jack LeRoy Henry, age 71, of Harmonsburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at UPMC Hamot.             He was born on July 25, 1945 in Meadville, PA. The son of the late Frank Musica and Wilma Keeler. Jack met the love of his life Connie Riordan in 2004. She survives.             Jack was a graduate from Saegertown High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the United States Navy. Over the course of his life he drove truck for various trucking companies. Jack belonged to the NRA and the American Legion in Saegertown. Giving to the Children’s Indian School and the Humane Societies were his passions. He loved his animals: Peanut, Scarlet, Faith, and Callie. He also loved all the birds and fishes he would see. Jack was of the Protestant faith.   “There's a bond between a granddaughter and grandfather that can not be broken Our love for each other are words that are unspoken I called him my best friend for his love and his care For never giving up and always being there He's the first person I went fishing with Building go carts I will surely miss And on Jan 17 of 2017 my best friend in the whole world fell into a deep sleep And I know if he were here he would say to me and you Don't shed a tear for me or be down in the blues For I'm singing with the angels and dancing around Watching over you looking down I'm with my daughter my niece and my mom They greeted me and yelled "what took you so long?!?!" Dont be afraid for I'm your protection Not a day will go by that you should feel neglection Don't mourn my death but celebrate my life And remember I was just so special I was missed by god and it was my time” -Kara Stiner, granddaughter               He is survived by his wife, Connie, of Harmonsburg, PA, a daughter: Kristen Mertens and her husband, Jeremy, of Cincinnati, OH, three sons: Daniel Doggett, of Meadville, PA, Chris Niemeyer and his wife, Anna, of Paris, AR, and Chance Horne and his wife, Danelle, of Harmonsburg, PA, two sisters: Donna Atkins and her husband, Larry, of Meadville, PA, Sandy Delbridge and her husband, Dale, of Lincoln, NE, a brother-in-law: Scott DeWeese of Peru, IL, thirteen grandchildren: Kara, Jake, Joshlyn, Destiny, Desiree, Chance, Mark, Lance, Hayleigh, Rori, Raegan, Riley, Gaige, four great-grandchildren: Karson, Liala, Abel, Rylynn.
