Jackie Brown Rossey (JB) of Meadville, born January 12, 1950, died June 19, 2016, at 7:30 p.m., from injuries received during an accident on 6-11-2016.Jack Rossey was a Vietnam veteran. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971.JB was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife of 40 years and best friend, Thelma Irene Rossey. He lost her on July 11, 2015.Jack and Thelma had one son, Jacob Rossey, whom they both adored. Jack had an especially close relationship with his son. Jacob will miss his father always.Jack was one of fifteen children and leaves behind 8 of them, Shirley, Dorothy, Elsie, Barbara, Earl, Juanita, Mary, Pete and their spouses. His brother, Earl Rossey, was more than just his little brother, he was Jack's closest friend.Jack leaves behind too many nieces, nephews, family members, friends and loved ones to mention them all, so, to all of you, he loved you. Find comfort in one another and know he is at peace. He has gone home to Thelma where he belongs.Jackie Brown Rossey was the definition of a good man. He was what the world lacks, kind, brave, loving and generous to a fault. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.Jack Rossey's funeral will be held at the Venango Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25th. The funeral will be followed by a meal at the Meadville VFW on 1081 Morgan Village Road, at 12:30 p.m.
