Jim (The Janitor) Vorous, age 60, of Meadville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1953 in Grove City, PA the son of Floyd Paul Vorous and the late Hazel Marie Burnette Vorous. He graduated from Lakeview High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in Germany. He had previously owned and operated Jim the Janitor Cleaning Service. Jim liked to work on bicycles and enjoyed the time he spent at the Soup Kitchen and the friends he met there. His dog, Blaze was a big part of his life. Hi is survived by his son, Jeremy J. Vorous of Meadville, PA; two brothers, Lawrence Vorous and his wife, Bev of Saegertown, PA and Dale Vorous and his wife, Kim of Houston, PA. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Marie Vorous. Family and friends may call at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, on Saturday from 10 until time of the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor David Brumagin, Pastoral Care of Meadville Medical Center, officiating.
