Jeanne Kasbee

Jeanne W. Kasbee , 67, of Meadville, PA  passed away peacefully at the Crawford County Care Center  surrounded by  family on Saturday, February 3, 2024.  She was born in Chicago, IL on September 12, 1956 to the late Wayne and Marilyn (Willoughby) Williams. She married Clarence “Butch” Kasbee on June 10, 1978. He preceded her in death on December 26, 2013.

Jeanne was a graduate of North Hills High School and Grove City College with a degree in Psychology.  She enjoyed her Wednesday night Bowling League. Jeanne was a true animal lover, especially of her Dalmatians and loved spending time with her 4 granddaughters. She was the owner and operator of The Travel Experience in Meadville. Her travel agency was her passion where she enjoyed helping people make memories.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Diana Turrisi (Tony) of Meadville,PA ; two sons, Darren Kasbee (Chrissy) of Pittsburgh, PA and David Kasbee of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren, Kendall, Dylann, Ella, and Ava;  two sisters, Beth Neely (Merrill) of Pittsburgh, PA  and Barbara Ramsey of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Doug Volmerich(Nikki) of Franklin, PA;  two sisters-in-law, Sheila Martin (Tim) of Gulfport, MS and Susan Criss (Michael)  of NC; and her mother-in-law Margaret Kasbee of Sandy Lake, PA.

Along with her husband and parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her father-in-law Tom Kasbee.

As per Jeanne’s wishes, there will be no services.  There will be a private family gathering at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made in Jeanne’s name to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road Meadville, PA 16335.
