Jeannine W. Stanford

Jeannine Wagner Stanford, 84, of Meadville, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Crawford County Care Center. She was born January 6, 1930 in Clearfield County. A daughter of the late Cecil and Violet (Hicklan) Wagner. She married Ronald F. (Skip) Stanford on Sept. 12, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1995. She lived in Meadville most of her life. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1948 and worked at Spauldings and GTI until retiring. She enjoyed gardening and traveling with her husband Skip and being with family. Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn Lane and her husband Joseph of Leechburg, PA and a son Daniel Stanford of Meadville and a daughter-in-law Carol Stanford of Knox; grandsons, John P. Macken IV and his wife Kim and Brian Stanford and his wife Valerie of Knox and a great grandson, John P. Macken V. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son Ronald F. Stanford, Jr. on Sept. 30, 2010. The family would like to thank the staff on Cinnamon Street at the Crawford County Care Center for their kindness and excellent care giving.
