Jeffery Chambley

October 3, 1963 — January 5, 2022

Jeffery Howard Chambley, age 58, of Meadville, PA passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022 at his residence with family by his side.  He was born on October 3, 1963 in Meadville, PA to the late Howard and Ruth (Bortner) Chambley.

Jeff graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1981.    He then spent a brief time in the United States Air Force.  He then worked at Meadville Forge for 12 years and worked as a painter for Meadville Housing for 18 years.

In high school he was a fireball all-star pitcher for the Meadville Baseball team and the American Legion team.  In his later years, he enjoyed watching Jeopardy, doing crosswords, grilling, golfing, bowling and fishing and he was an avid Steelers and Pittsbrugh Pirates fan.

Jeff is survived by two daughters, Leeya Chambley of Hadley, PA and Mozelle Jordan of Hadley, PA and one son, Oliver Chambley of Conneaut Lake, PA; two grandchildren, Daya Cook and Ivee Cook; three sisters, Shirley (Pokey) Catalino of Erie, PA, Mary Brewton and her husband, Richard of Meadville, PA and Debbie Tatsch and her husband, Tim of Meadville, PA and one brother, John Chambley of Geneva, PA and brother-in-law, Ronnie Mudger of Kissimee, FL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Judy Mudger; his brother-in-law, Gary Catalino and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Chambley.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the spring.
