Jerald Price

Jerald “Jerry” W. Price, 82, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday October 3, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. He was born on February 26, 1942 in Meadville, PA to the late Walter and Nathalie (Hatton) Price. He married Maria E. Luben on September 16, 1972. She survives.

Jerry graduated from Meadville High School in 1960 and Alliance College in 1962 with a degree in mechanical drafting and design.  He worked for Seco/Warwick Corp in Meadville for 52 years designing aluminum heat treat furnaces.

Jerry enjoyed working out with his twin brother, Jimmy and his good friend, Mike Fowler at the Vernon Y 3 days a week.  He also enjoyed doing yard work and volunteered at Roche Park with anything that needed done.  He loved his cat, Sammy.

In addition to his loving wife of 52 years, he is survived by their son, Stephen J. Price and his wife, Cindy of Meadville, PA; his grandchildren, Angel Price and India Steele and his step-grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Bump and his brothers, James “Jimmy” Price and his wife, Cathy of Meadville, PA and Donald Price and his wife, Carol of Meadville, PA.

As per Jerry’s request, there will be no services at this time.
