Jill Maines

Jill Maines, age 65, of Meadville, PA passed away at home with her husband by her side on Thursday July 21, 2022.  She was born in Meadville, PA on April 23, 1957 to the late Duane and Grace (Hibbard) Menold.  She married Richard Maines on May 27, 1994.  He survives.

Jill graduated from Meadville High School in 1975.  She was most recently employed at NuTec Tessey as a secretary for the last 15 years.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  She was a member of the VFW and American Legion.  She danced at Arita Lee Blair’s studio for years.  She loved animals, dancing in the Charity Follies, riding her trike with her husband and traveling, cruising and vacationing.

In addition to her husband, Dick, she is survived by her brother, Paul Menold and his wife, Sherry of Meadville, PA; her sister-in-law, Joyce Andrews of Lake City, PA; her beloved dog, Maggie May; her nieces and nephews, Amy Jones and her husband, Timothy Jr., Jeff Menold and his wife, Jolene, James Andrews, Richard Andrews and Sherri Lybrook and her great nieces, Avery and Allyson Jones and Elliott Menold.

Jill was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt, Hallie Stafford.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday July 26, 2022 from 4-7 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.
