Jim A. Hollabaugh, age 54, of Wing Rd., Conneautville passed away due to heart related issues on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Cool Spring Creek in Mercer County while fly fishing with his stepfather. He was born in Meadville, PA on May 22, 1965 to James Hollabaugh, Sr. and Donna Malliard.
Jim graduated from Conneautville High School. He earned a degree in Forestry from Butler Community College. In his younger years, he worked at Agnew Farms, then he was a Ranger at Pymatuning State Park and most recently he was employed at Molded Fiberglass as a laborer.
He loved his dogs, especially his coon dog, Copper. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson.
Jim is survived by his mother, Donna Adams and her husband, Willis of Cambridge Springs; three sisters, Tammy Malliard of Meadville; Wanda Newbalm and her husband, John of Dallastown, PA; and Brenda Hollabaugh and her companion, Tom of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hollabaugh Sr.
There will be a private viewing with family and friends and a memorial service is being planned for a later date.
