Jim P. Walters

Jim P. Walters Sr. age 82, of Cambridge Springs, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence.             He was born October 24, 1934 in Warren, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harry Jake Walters and Margaret Wholeben Walters.  He married Deloris Thompson on July 2, 1957; they were married for fifty-seven years. She survives.             He had worked for Asplundh Tree Company. Jim had a passion for gardening.             Jim is survived by his wife, Deloris J. Walters of Cambridge Springs, a daughter: Tina Cope and her husband Jim of Hernando, FL, three sons: Jim P. Walters Jr. of Cambridge Springs, PA, John H. Walters of Cambridge Springs, and Brian L. Walters  and his wife Becky of Wilbur, Alabama, four grandchildren: Chris, Jarrett, Shelby, and Bryan. Jim is further survived by several nieces and nephews.             In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by a sister Hellen Werner, a brother Harry Duke Walters, and Bear, his beloved pet dog.             There will be no calling hours.  Services will be private.
