Joann Phillips

JoAnn L. Phillips, age 80, formerly of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away at Wesbury on Wednesday, October 28, 2020.  She was born in Meadville, PA on July 5, 1940 to the late Edward and Irene (Harauff) Linz.  She married Raymond “George” Phillips on July 8, 1961.  He preceded her in death on December 16, 2017.

JoAnn was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  She then worked for Mellon Bank for 34 years until her retirement.

JoAnn was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and she enjoyed sewing and spending time with friends boating on Conneaut Lake.

JoAnn is survived by one son, Bob Phillips and his wife, Amanda of Hilton Head Island, SC and two grandsons, Evan and Davis Phillips.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed and Tom Linz.

To protect family and friends during these challenging times, we will limit viewing hours to 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at 5:00 p.m.  on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of the Americas with Father David Carter officiating.  JoAnn will be buried next to her husband at Lakeview Cemetery.
