John Thomas Curley Sr.

November 12, 1924 — June 11, 2011

Tom was a veteran of the US Navy with an honorable discharge. He moved to Meadville in 1949 and resided in Edinboro most of the 1960s. He worked as a pattern maker all his life, first at American Brakeshoe (ABEX), then at Saegertown Pattern Co. After he retired, he worked part time at Channellock as a security guard. He loved having a cottage on Edinboro Lake where he spent time with his kids and went boating and fishing. He also loved his dogs, hunting with his buddies in his early years, and walking around Meadville. He especially loved being with his family. He was a member of St. Agatha's Catholic Church. He was a lifetime member of the Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006, American Legion, and a lifetime member of the West Mead 2 Volunteer Fire Dept.
