John Christopher Holeva, 39, passed away the morning of September 7, 2021. John (JC) was born July 17, 1982 in Anchorage, AK. He was a graduate of Maplewood High School. He was married on February 26, 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Holeva; his children, Lena, Olivia, Grayson and Ethan; his father, John Holeva; his brother, Kenneth and his wife, Heidi and their children, Gavin, Emily and Jorja; his brother, Thomas and his wife, Nova and their children, Cassidy, Elise, AJ, and Alaina; his bonus sisters, Courtney and her husband, Josh and their children, Geno and Rocco and Rosie and her partner, Jeff and his bonus brother, Mason and his wife, Julia and their children, Hugo and Greta. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca (Becky) Lee Holeva; grandparents, John Jordan, Theresa and Jack Crytzer and Patricia and John Andrew Holeva III; aunts, uncles and cousins.
In his childhood he enjoyed playing sports. His love for sports continued on as a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He enjoyed watching Gavin, Jorja, Grayson and Ethan play sports and admired Emily’s photography. He earned his bachelor's degree from The University of Edinboro. He was an avid gun collector and hunter. His heart was made whole when he married Dana and became a father to her children. He is the self-appointed “Greatest Uncle” and unanimously voted “Dad of the Year” 2020 and 2021.
Throughout his entire life, he established deep connections with his friends and family. He was a dedicated worker in the tool and die industry in quality control for over 20 years. This dedication mirrored his love for his country and his passion to “Make America Great Again”.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 25th at Lyona Bible Church 28825 Lyona Road, Guys Mills, PA 16327 from 1pm to 4pm. Snacks and cookies to be served. Condolences and sympathies can also be sent to Lyona Bible Church.
