John Scander

               John G. Scander, 69 of Meadville, PA passed, Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at UPMC Hamot surrounded by family.  He was born February 17, 1948 in Pittsburgh.   He married Lori (Kirk) Scander on May 10, 2002.                  John loved fishing and golfing.  He was a Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fan.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.                  In addition to his wife, Lori, John is survived by his 6 daughters, Leslie (Dennis) Enos, Bernadette (Raymond) Graves, Joanne (Larry) Manuel, Elizabeth (Jake) Reynolds, Roberta Scander (Companion Joel Weilacher), Bobbie Jo Scander (Companion Steve Sallot).  2 Step-Sons Matt and Lucas Thacker.  2 Sisters, Debra (Mark) Harvey and Anna Marie McQuillen  and 21 beloved Grandchildren.                 John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Joanne Scander, a brother Eddie Scander  and a Great Granddaughter Gracelyn Enos.                 A Private memorial service will be held at a future date.  Please sign John’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com.
