John R. Tenney

John Richard Tenney, age 65, of Meadville, passed away on June 7, 2019.

He was born July 5, 1953 in Meadville, the son of Vernon and Mary Tenney and is survived by his wife; Mary L. (Godwin) Tenney.

John was an appliance delivery person for Shaw Appliance for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Tenney; 4 sons, Raymond Mattocks of Venango, Mark Bell of Erie, Randy Mattocks of Ripley, NY, and Ronald Mattocks of Kissimmee, Florida and 1 daughter, Malinda (Mattocks) Potosky; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by 3 sisters, Ester Ernewine, Pauline Hunt, and Shirley Bailey; 1 brother, Vernon Tenney; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019 at the Raymond Mattocks residence, Venango, PA.

Mr. Tenney’s final arrangements have been entrusted to the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, Baldwin Street, Meadville.
