Joseph Carello

Joseph T. Carello, age 75, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2024 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA. He was born on December 14, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Albinus and Elizabeth (Zamboni) Carello. He married Kelly McGregor on July 1, 2008. She survives.

Joe served in the US Army in Korea. He then earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.  He was currently working in Human Resources for PRT (Port Authority of Pittsburgh).

As a child, he attended St. Susanna Church of Penn Hills, PA.  He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family, especially taking his boys fishing and hunting. He will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his wife, Kelly, he is survived by his sons, Joey Carello and his wife, Jennifer of Ocean Springs, MS and Chris Carello and his significant other, Jennifer of Manor, PA and his daughter, Amanda Apple and her husband, Tyson of Danville, AR; his grandchildren, Ethan, Kylie, Dominic and Anthony Carello, Alexandra Johnston and her significant other, Ivan, Randall Johnston and his wife, Arlyn and MaryAnne Apple; his great grandchildren, Valentina and Little Randall; his sister, Connie Jordan and her husband, Jack of Allison Park, PA and his brother, Rick Carello and his wife, Amy of Freedom, PA; his nieces and nephews, Jonathan Jordan and his wife, Minja, Mackenzie Jordan, Rachelle Peklinsky and her husband, Jason and Chelsea Cajka and her husband, Matt and his great nieces and nephews, Rilynn, Lukas, Gabriel, Zoey and Braxton.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Susanna Church, 200 Stotler Rd., Penn Hills, PA 15235 on Saturday October 12, 2024 at 10:00 am. All are welcome.
