Joseph Crandall

Joseph Brian Crandall, age 54 of Henderson, North Carolina, passed away November 7, 2016 at the Duke University Hospital, in Durham, North Carolina.   He was born on April 28, 1962 in St. Mary’s, PA;  the son of Donald Crandall and  Geraldine Tartaglia Crandall.   Joseph attended elementary school in : Dover, Delaware, Stewards Draft, Virginia, Cambridge, Maryland.   He then graduated from Cochranton High School, Cochranton, Pennsylvania.    He was employed at Duke  University.   Joseph enjoyed his motorcycle, his boat, and his truck.  He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.   He loved his dog Tazz.   Surviving Joseph are:  his mother Geraldine Crandall of Meadville; two sisters : Amy Shiner of Meadille, Cindy Prall of Meadville, and a brother John Crandall of Oahu, Hawaii.   Also surviving are 8 nieces and nephews : Samantha, Holden, Brandon, Courtney, Jacob, Jeremy, John Jr. Jennifer; and a family friend Mike Aubert and his wife.   Preceding Joseph in death were: his father Donald Crandall; his maternal grandparents Lawrence and Nellie Tartaglia, and paternal grandparents Merle and Agnes Crandall.   A Celebration of Life is being planned and arranged by family and friends.   This obituary has been placed for the Crandall Family by the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory,  614 Baldwin St.  Meadville, PA 16335   Please sign the guestbook at:   hatheway-tedesco.com
