Joseph Davis

Joseph J. Davis, age 63, of Conneaut Lake, PA formerly Orange, CT passed away suddenly on Wednesday December 22, 2021 due to complications of COVID.  He was born on April 25, 1958 in New Haven, CT to the late Richard and Louise (Harla) Davis.  He married Suzann Lane in June of 2013.  She survives.

Joe graduated from Amity Regional High School.  He was very proud to be an EMT and volunteer firefighter.  He started his career at Newtiles Ambulance in 1978 and ended his career after 35 years with AMR in New Haven, CT.  He also retired as the Assistant Fire Chief after 35 plus years of service with Orange Volunteer Fire Department.

Joe was a lifelong Boston sports fan.  He also enjoyed traveling with his wife and loved spending time at the beach.

In addition to his wife, Suzann of Conneaut Lake, PA he is survived by his son, Michael Davis of Branford, CT; his step-daughter, Harmony Glassey and her husband, Kevin of Cheshire, CT; two step-sons, Bryan Donnelly and his wife, Erica of Killingworth, CT and Chris Donnelly and his significant other, Savanna of Griswold, CT; step- grandchildren, Caileigh, Austin, Emma, Sophia, Cora and Nathaniel; his sister, Nancy Fletcher and her husband, Gary of Westminster, CO and his nephews, Ryan and Christopher Fletcher.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, James.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
