Joseph Debisceglia

Joseph P. DeBisceglia, age 67, passed away on October 27, 2022 at home after a long battle with lung cancer.  He was born on April 12, 1955 to the late Vincent and Carmela DeBisceglia.  Joe married his loving wife, Kelly Reed on April 6, 2019 following a 26 year engagement.

After attending Saint Agatha Catholic School and Meadville Area Senior High School, Joe attended Triangle Tech in Erie, PA for a degree in Mechanical Design.  Following graduation, he worked in the shipyards of Virginia Beach as a logistics engineer.  Joe owned New Faces Bar and Grill in Virginia Beach prior to returning to Meadville.  Many may remember Joe as a favored bartender at Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Department.  Joe then continued his career in restaurant management to include Bob Evans, Golden Corral and lastly his favorite, Cracker Barrel from where he retired.

Joe enjoyed riding his Harleys, golfing, fishing, spending time with his German Shepards, Axel and Bear, and watching Sunday afternoon football.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Carmela, Angelina and Dominic Baughman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Vincent in 2018.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday November 1, 2022 from 4-7 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish- St. Mary’s Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville, PA at 10:00 am.  Entombment will be at St. Brigid Mausoleum with his son Michael and his mother Carmela.
