Joseph C. Johnson

            Joseph C. Johnson, age 27, of Meadville, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.  Joe was born on October 3, 1989 in Warren, PA to Stephen and Judith Johnson.  They survive.             Joe graduated from Meadville High School in 2008, then continued to Penn State Behrand where he received his Bachelors degree in Accounting and his Masters degree in Business Administration.  He was then employed as a Corporate Tax Accountant.  He was of the Christian faith.  Joe played hockey in middle school and he enjoyed going to the gym and playing golf.  He spent a lot of his free time watching movies. Joe had a big heart, and always placed others in front of himself.             Joe is survived by his parents, Steve and Judy of Meadville, his paternal grandparents, David and Esther Johnson, 2 brothers, twin Michael Johnson and his significant other Kendall Leigh and Samuel Johnson and his significant other Ashley Sparber.  Other survivors include his Aunts and Uncles; Michael and Cindie Harkless, Christopher and Maureen Harkless, David and Kim Johnson, Debbie and Patrick Wilson and Diane Confer.  And his Cousins; John Harkless, Lee Harkless, Deneil Baldwin, Adrianne Harkless, Meghan Hirlinger and Abbey Bonnell. Joe is further survived a multitude of friends.             Joe was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Goldie and Joe Fronko.             There will be a private family service.  The family asks that memorial contributions be made payable to them in care of the funeral home, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville, PA 16335.  These memorials will go to Alexandra Johnson’s Recovery Fund.  Alexandra and Joe were companions for many years.              Arrangements have been entrusted to Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St. Meadville, PA 16335.  Please sign Joe’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com
