Joseph Lee Malliard

Joseph Lee Malliard, age 59 of Meadville, PA, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center. He fought a four year courageous battle with cancer. Joe was born September 24, 1955 the son of the late Joyce Ann Malliard Dennis and the late William Dennis. Joe loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. With his family he enjoyed camping and watching westerns on TV. He was a great cook and baker. He was the type of person if you needed help he was there for you. Joe is survived by his long time companion Shelly Beish and her children; a daughter Brittany Castile and her husband Dominic and a son Matthew Beish, five grandchildren; Justin, Peirce, Xavier, Myiah and Brandon. Joe has to half brothers; Gary Dennis of Oil City, PA and Larry Dennis of Altoona, PA. He is also survived by his Aunts and Uncles: Virginia Malliard Dennis, Donna Malliard Adams, Bonnie Malliard Terry and Larry Dennis, Jim Dennis and John Dennis. He is further survived by over 60 cousins. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents Francis and June Allen Malliard and Asa and Bernice Fisher Dennis; his aunts Louise Korn, Laurel Herring, Carol Beggs, Peg Bemis, Doris Artice, his uncles; Alfred, Calvin, Chuck and Lawrence Malliard and Sam and Ike Dennis. Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. All are welcome to attend the Memorial Service at 3 PM on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Solomon of the Emmanuel United Community Church, Meadville, PA, officiating.
