Joseph Phillips

Joseph R. Phillips, age 72, of Meadville, PA passed away on Saturday November 5, 2022 while paying his respects at his cousin’s funeral.  He was born on May 1, 1950 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Rocco and Margaret (Vuckovich) Phillips.  He married Janet Smith on November 25, 1976.  She survives.

Joe graduated from South Hills High School in 1968.  He was a brick layer by trade and was very proud of the work he did for David Gregor and Brian Chess.

He loved reading, fishing and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.  He was very proud of his daughters.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his daughters, Carolyn (Nicolas) Allebrodt of Germany and Elizabeth Jolyn Phillips of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, David Phillips and his wife, Michelle of CA and his lifelong friend, William Rodgers of AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
