Joseph Sliker

Joseph Bryant Sliker, age 68, of Meadville, PA passed away in Pittsburgh, PA on Wednesday April 23, 2025 after an extended illness. He was born on August 2, 1956 in Scituate, MA to the late George and Dorothy (Perry) Sliker. He married Clara Grams on July 10, 1976. She survives.

Joe graduated from Meadville High School in 1975 and also from the electronics program at Crawford County Vo-Tech. He also earned Associate Degrees in Electronics and Structural Architecture. He worked as a repair technician for commercial printers for many years in Philadelphia. He also served in the US Air Force as an Instrument Technician on airplanes.

Joe attended Pleasantview Alliance Church. He enjoyed making inlays for rings and doing crafting and carpentry. He was also very interested in robotics and computers.

In addition to his beloved wife of 48 years, Clara, he is survived by his sons, George Sliker and his wife, Lizel of Cochranton, PA, Michael Sliker of Meadville, PA and Brandon Sliker and his wife, Donna of Meadville, PA; his grandchildren, Autumn and her husband, Isaac, Skylar, Adreyan, Yandre, Isabella, Blade and Helen; and his great-grandchildren, Sergius and Nina, Richard, Nevaeh and Serenity; his brother, Daniel E. Sliker and his wife, Dana of Conneaut Lake, PA and his nieces and nephews, Monica, Ramsey, Ryan and Travis.

A memorial service will be held Thursday May 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at Pleasantview Alliance Church, 16233 State Route 86, Saegertown, PA 16433.
