Joy L. Scott

Joy Scott, age 57 of Meadville, PA passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 3, 2016. Joy was born July 12, 1958 in Greenville, PA the daughter of the late Ewell and Elizabeth Scott.             She graduated from Meadville High School in l977. She attended college in Johnstown, PA and graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts in l981. She had attended Gospel Tabernacle in Saegertown, PA             Joy loved all of the family gatherings. She had a cat named Pumpkin Pie, and she taught him to patty cake with her and amazed us all. She was always smiling and would talk to anyone. She will be greatly missed.             Joy is survived by her four siblings: Rebecca Hargenrater and her husband Herman of Conneaut Lake, PA, Mary Beth Roberts and husband Mark of Conneaut Lake, PA, Jeff Scott and his wife Susan of Franklin, PA, and James Scott and his wife Shannon of Conneaut Lake, PA. Joy also had a very special bond with her niece, Amber English, whom she did a lot together and Amber will greatly miss her and those special times she spent with her Aunt Joy.             Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Gospel Tabernacle, 417 Euclid Avenue, Saegertown, PA from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service at 12 Noon with Pastor Mark Villars, of Gospel Tabernacle, officiating.
