Joyce Mahoney

Joyce Mahoney, age 87, of Saegertown, PA passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at Meadville Medical Center TCU. She was born on November 3, 1939 in Erie, PA to the late Lawrence and Phyllis (Hatfield) West. She married her best friend Patrick G. Mahoney on May 23, 1973 . He preceded her in death on March 8, 2010.

Joyce graduated from Academy High School in 1957. She was a Group Leader at DIC Tool.

She was a member of Pleasantview Alliance Church.

Joyce was a member of Alliance Women. She enjoyed doing word searches and watching old Westerns. She was an avid birdwatcher and gardener. She also loved playing cards and dice with friends and family.

Joyce is survived by her children, Roberta Fulton of Grove City, OH, Melody Mahoney Meeks and her husband, Daniel of Wilmington, NC, Erin Mahoney of Saegertown, PA, Mary Eileen Hatch and her husband, Leon of Henderson, NV, Joseph Guy Mahoney of Sault Ste. Marie, MI and Julie-Marie Eckert of Meadville, PA and her grandchildren, Kieran Vickers, Corey Meeks, Brenden Mahoney, Brigid Hatch, Kimberly Hatch and Leah Sedor and many great grandkids.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by granddaughters, Devon Vickers and Jamie Sue McGee and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will take place on Tuesday July 7, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Pleasantview Alliance Church,16233 State Route 86, Saegertown, PA 16433 with Pastor Mike MacAdam officiating.
