Judith Cartwright

Judith Elaine Cartwright, age 73, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully at her home after a brief illness with the flu on Thursday April 21, 2022.  She was born on November 21, 1948 in Meadville, PA to the late Robert M. and Hester (McMichael) Cartwright.

Judith graduated from Meadville High School and then went on to earn a teaching degree from Edinboro State University.  She was a sanitation engineer at Allegheny College for 35 years.

Judith was of the Christian faith.  She won several blue ribbons and awards for her flowers and herbs every year at the Crawford County Fair.  She enjoyed gardening and was an avid cat lover.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Smilek and her husband, Paul of Rogersville, TN; an uncle, Bryce McMichael and his wife, Bonnie and cousins, the Koalajas family of Spartansburg, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to a service on Thursday April 28, 2022 at 2 pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville, PA 16335.
