Karen Gasper

Karen A. Gasper of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on October 17, 2016 at the Marquette Hospice House after a 4 year battle with cancer.                  She was born on May 28, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Boyd and Blanche Brudy. She married Steve Gasper on November 30, 1962. He survives.                 She was a graduate of St. Benedict’s Academy in Pittsburgh, PA. Karen worked for the Federal Rice Drug Company straight out of high school. Around 1972 Karen and Steve moved to Conneaut Lake and she began working for PPG in the accounting department.  She worked for PPG until her retirement in 2005.  She was of the Catholic faith and was a dedicated homemaker.                 In addition to her parents Karen is preceded in death by her sister Linda.                 Services will be private at the convenience of the family                 Memorial contributions can be made to the Marquette Hospice House, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.                 Please sign Karen’s online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com                 Arrangements have been entrusted to DICKSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 130 NORTH SECOND STREET, CONNEAUT LAKE, PA 16316, ROCCO TEDESCO III, SUPERVISOR.
