Karen Sue Hughes

Karen Sue Hughes, age 52, of Meadville, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA She was born August 7, 1961 in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Russell Hughes Sr. and Vivian Fairweather Hughes. She graduated from Osborne High School in Manassas, Virginia. She was a member of the VFW Post 2006 in Meadville, PA. She is survived by a sister, Nancy Kightlinger of Meadville, PA; a brother, Randal Hughes of Virginia; three nephews, Corey Kightlinger, Ronald Kightlinger Jr., and Jamey Kightlinger all of Meadville, PA and several nieces and nephews in the Virginia area. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Hughes Jr. Family and friend are welcome to call on Friday from 1 pm until 3PM at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA. The memorial service will be at 3 PM with Pastor Ken Hough of the Watson Run Church of God, officiating.
