Karen Sue Whitacre-Edmiston

Karen Sue Whitacre-Edmiston, age 67, of Saegertown; passed Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the Meadville Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1945 in Pottstown, PA, the daughter of Harry Whitacre and Jean Zelinski- Whitacre. For her entire life, she earned her living from her love of animals and farming. A Christian lady, she loved travelling. Survivors include two daughters: Lisa R. (Leroy) Mussi of Jamestown, PA, Karrah L. Kightlinger of McKean, PA; two sons Clifton L. Erb III of Saegertown, PA, and Clay A. Erb of Eau Clare, WI. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Lindsay and Benjamin Kightlinger, and Lauren Erb; and a sister Marlene J. Whitacre of Graften. VT. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd. Meadville, PA 16335, in memory of Karen Whitacre.
