Kathleen Bolding

Kathleen T. Bolding (Kitty), 80, of Guys Mills, passed away Tuesday night, February 21, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family.

Kitty was born on October 3, 1942 in Morehead City, North Carolina, a daughter of the late William and Ethel Tyler of Smyrna, North Carolina. She was married to the late John Maxwell Bolding on September 18, 1965 who preceded her in death on May 23, 2021.

Kitty was a devoted wife, mother, and granny to her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who she loved spending time with. She was an avid NASCAR fan, loved flower shopping at the local greenhouses in the springtime, planting her flowers, and spending time outdoors on her porch.

Kitty is survived by her five children, Stephanie Roberts and husband Ross of Titusville, Frankie Ridle and husband Mark of Meadville, Stanley Bolding and wife Debbie, Mary Bolding, and James Howard Bolding and wife Stephanie all of Guys Mills; Nine grandchildren, Monica Krince and husband Timmy of Ohio, Jarrod Roberts and companion Angela Armstrong of Titusville, Jade Van Cise and husband Cy of Townville, Rylee Bolding of Meadville, Nick Byerley of Guys Mills, Michael Stussi of Hawaii, Melissa Stussi of California, Maddie Stussie and Johnathan Bolding of Guys Mills; Eight great grandchildren, Kimberly, Lauren, Lilly, T.J., Cole, Karter, Aria, and Tealy; siblings Ellen MacDonald and husband Kelvin of Jonesboro, Georgia, Robert Tyler and wife Sandy of Grand Valley, PA and Charles Tyler and wife Candi of Marshalburg, North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sister Rachel Tyler Moore and husband Frank of Harkers Island, North Carolina, a grandson John Laurance Ridle, two granddaughters, Rowen Woods and Summer Parsons.

No viewing hours will be observed. Friends and family are invited to a service celebrating her life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Guys Mills.
