Kelsey Atkins

Kelsey Brianne Atkins, age 28, of Greenville, PA passed away in Linesville, PA on June 25, 2021 after a battle with drug addiction.  She was born on September 29, 1992 in Meadville, PA to Jennifer Whitesell.

Kelsey was a 2011 graduate of Linesville High School.  She worked in the hospitality industry as a cook.  She excelled in basketball and softball during high school.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling and she loved to watch sunrises and sunsets.  Kelsey’s greatest accomplishment was the birth of her daughter, Brooklyn.

Kelsey is survived by her mother, Jennifer Whitesell and her husband, Scott of Greenville, PA; her daughter, Brooklyn Atkins; two sisters, Kaitlin Householder of Meadville, PA and Tayler Whitesell of Greenville, PA and one brother, Joshua Dennis and his fiancé, Grace Jewell of Greenville, PA; her grandparents, James and Naomi Telliho of Meadville, PA, Debby Atkins of Meadville, PA and Robert and Susie Whitesell of Grove City, PA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Richard Atkins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday June 29, 2021 from 5-8 pm at Dickson Funeral Home 130 N. 2 ^nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.  Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 11 am with Pastor Lester Rowan of Wayside Community Church officiating.  Burial will take place at Shenango Valley Cemetery 53 College Ave, Greenville, PA 16125.
