Kenneth Harold Bensanson

February 1, 1939 — December 9, 2014

Kenneth Harold Besanson, age 75 of Guys Mills, PA and formerly of Titusville, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born February 1, 1939 in Titusville, PA the son to the late Minnow and Edith Davidson Besanson. He married Sandra W. Prody on July 1, 1974. She survives. He graduated from Titusville High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a self-employed automobile mechanic. He had the ability to master many household tasks. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing horse shoes and poker. He especially enjoyed being around his family and friends. Kenneth is survived by his wife; Sandra W. Besanson of Guys Mills, PA, a daughter; Christina Grubb and her husband James of Streetsboro, Ohio, two sons; Kenneth Besanson and his wife, JoAnn of Cochranton, PA and Robert Prody of Erie, PA, eleven grandchildren; Jessica Miller, Candace Besanson, Mark Whitman, Tyler Whitman, Robert Prichard, Jody Prichard, Jamie Prichard, Amanda Clausen, Levi Prody, Anita Prody, Robert Prody Jr., and several great-grandchildren, two sisters; Sue Wescoat and her husband Jim of Willoughby, Ohio, and Doris Dent of Titusville, PA, two brothers; Sam Greer and his wife Karen of Titusville, PA and Richard Whitman of the Franklin Area. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Demon. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by two brothers, John Greer and Thomas Greer and a sister, LuAnne Sanders. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
