Kenneth R. Doolittle

Kenneth R. Doolittle, age 55, of Townville, PA passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 13, 2019 at St. Vincent Health Center, Erie, PA.  He was born on June 24, 1963 in Meadville, PA to Kenneth I. Doolittle and Alice (Hogue) Doolittle of Townville, PA.  Ken married his loving wife, Brenda Petrone on July 3, 1982. Ken was a 1981 graduate of Maplewood High School.  He was employed as a general foreman for Hazlett Tree Service for over 30 years.  He was also employed as a township supervisor for Athens Township. He enjoyed making his own maple syrup and wine, as well as raising bees.  Ken enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being outdoors.  He was also proud to be a part of the Hazlett Tree Service Family. Ken is survived by his wife, Brenda; his mother, Alice (Hogue) Doolittle; two sons, Kenneth N. Doolittle and his wife, Christina of Denville, NJ and Clay M. Doolittle and his wife, Ashley of Townville, PA; four grandchildren, Colton, Penelope, Lincoln and Corbin; two sisters, Kim Nirmaier and her husband, George of Townville, PA and Patti Doolittle of Meadville, PA; as well as many additional loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth I. Doolittle. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home & Crematory at 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA.  A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm with Pastor Dave Nolan of the Pleasantview Alliance Church, Mount Pleasant Chapel, Union City, PA officiating.
