Laird Webb

Laird Webb, age 88, of Harmonsburg, PA passed away on Friday July 7, 2023 at Meadville Medical Center.  He was born on September 25, 1934 in Trafford, PA to the late John and Helen (Stark) Webb.  He married Lena Koons from Louisville, KY on March 20, 1956 in Jeffersonville, IN.  She survives.

Larry graduated from Conneautville High School in 1952.  He then joined the United States Army and proudly served during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for PPG for over 20 years before retirement.

Larry was enjoyed going to the Conneautville American Legion and he was scout leader for the Boy Scouts of America for 20 years.  He was very involved with the boy scouts and took many trips and did many activities with them.  He spent most of his time at home tinkering around the house doing repairs.

In addition to his wife of 67 years, Lena, he is survived by his son, Tim Webb of Harmonsburg, PA and his daughter, Cheryl Yanacek of Meadville, PA ; his son-in-law, Denny Simmons of Meadville, PA; his grandsons, Rob Yanacek (Mae) and Dominic and Devyn Simmons and his great-grandson, Braxtyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Debbie Zirkle; his granddaughter, Chelsea Yanacek and his brothers and sisters, John Webb(Marion), Erma Surrarer, Lois Pasikowski(Ed), James Webb and Richard Webb.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Larry will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Harmonsburg, PA.
