Larry W. Smith

Larry W. Smith, 73 of Meadville, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at  Allegheny General, Pittsburgh, PA.                 Larry was born on April 13, 1944 in Washington, PA, a son of George Smith and Margaret (Noble) Smith.  He married Teresa (Manon) Smith on November 26, 1983, she survives.                 He was a graduate of Independence High School in Ohio and then served two tours in Vietnam with the Army Airborne, he then obtained an accounting degree.  He retired from Universal Well Services in 2008.                 He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.  He was a loving father to his two dogs Athena and Atticus.  He enjoyed spending all of his time with his wife.                 He is further survived by one son, David Smith and his wife Penny of Washington, PA; four grandchildren; one brother, John Smith and his wife Carol of Ocean Springs, MS; two sisters-in-law, Twila Fisher and her husband John of Washington, PA and Debbie Manon of Washington, PA; two brothers-in-law, Tom Manon and his wife Kim of Washington, PA and Michael Manon and his wife Renee  of Ocean Springs, MS.  He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.                 He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, John Manon.                 Funeral services will be private and at the family’s convenience.  Please sign the online guestbook at hatheway-tedesco.com.                 Services have been entrusted to the HATHEWAY-TEDESCO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 614 BALDWIN STREET, MEADVILLE, PA 16335
