Laurence F Vorous

Laurence F. Vorous, age 72, of Guys Mills passed away on November 26, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1945, the son of the late Floyd P. Vorous and Hazel (Burnette) Vorous.  He married Beverly (Adamson) Vorous on July 2, 1965, she survives.    Larry graduated from Lakeview High School in 1963. He was employed as an auto and boat mechanic, then was self-employed for over 20 years at Vorous Bldg. Maintenance. Larry enjoyed restoring Jeeps, antique tractors, equipment and motorcycling.             He is survived by two daughters, Shari “Minnie” Miller (Mark) of Saegertown, Cathie A. Yeager (Fred) of Meadville, two sons, Steven L. Vorous (Penny) of Meadville, Timothy S. Vorous (Rhonda) of Guys Mills, four grandchildren Alissa Miller, Colton Miller, L.J. Vorous, and Tylor Vorous, and one brother Dale Vorous (Kim) of Houston, Pa. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: James Vorous, and grandmother Minnie Vorous.
