Lawrence Schirmer

Lawrence G. Schirmer, age 90, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Marquette Hospice House in Meadville, PA.  He was born on April 19, 1931 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Rosella and Elmer Schirmer.

He served as a medic in the United States Navy and worked as a guidance counselor in Three Lakes, WI.  He was very generous to the community of Three Lakes, WI and he made many close friends there.

Lawrence is survived by his sister, Margaret Adams of McKean, PA and his brother, Howard Schirmer of Erie, PA and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Durasa and his brother, Ralph Schirmer.

There will be a committal service held on Saturday October 16, 2021 at 11 am at St. James Cemetery in Crossingville, PA.
